The Rubbermaid® Technical Concepts SST Thermostatic Mixing
Valve is a precision-engineered plumbing component designed to deliver safe,
comfortable water temperatures for touch-free faucet systems. Under-counter and
compact, this thermostatic mixing valve seamlessly blends hot and cold water to
provide consistent, tempered output within the 80–120 °F (27–49 °C) range,
enhancing both user comfort and safety by reducing the risk of scalding. Its
advanced thermal actuator responds rapidly even at low flows down to 0.5 GPM,
making it ideal for commercial and high-traffic restroom installations. Built
with durable, chrome-plated brass construction and easy-service union
connections, it ensures long-lasting performance and simplified maintenance.
Additionally, the valve features a fail-safe shut-off that stops water flow if
the cold supply is interrupted, further protecting users and fixtures.
